The NCCIC recommended citizens that, if they get one particular of the bomb menace emails, they ought to not attempt to contact the sender or pay the ransom.
The agency also requested people to report emails to the FBI’s Net Criminal offense Grievance Centre or to a nearby FBI area place of work.
The mayor of Washington, DC, Muriel Bowser has also launched an formal statement confirming that she has been briefed by the Metropolitan Law enforcement Office (MPD) on the ongoing investigation into the a number of bomb threats nationwide, like DC.
